RIOS Medical are a medical device sales agency based in the UK dedicated to providing outstanding results to our partner companies and to be a trusted service provider to our surgeons and HCPs.
We strongly believe that combining our expert level of clinical expertise, innovative products and a drive to succeed enable us to deliver high performance in all areas.
We have a wide scope of expertise but currently focus around the knee, hip, foot and ankle. We have recently widened our offering by partnering with a post-op rehabilitation company to further and develop our offering so we can look to support all parts of the patient pathway.
Since forming in 2022, we are always on the look out for ways to expand our product portfolio and offering and strongly believe we have the structure in place to be able to support and grow small or large existing businesses but also help new medical device companies enter the UK market and gain market share.

Meet the Team
RIOS Medical has two founders, James Butcher and David Murray-White. Having amassed 25+ combined years within the medical device industry, we have been able to develop a highly specialised level of clinical knowledge and expertise in a range of different specialities. In parallel to this, we have been able to gain a significant footprint and reputation within the region with our customer base as a trusted service partner. During our time in the industry, we have both been able to deliver market leading sales results and performances with a range of different companies in varying specialities.
As RIOS Medical we will utilise all of this to maximise performance for our partner companies and become a trusted and reliable service partner to our customer base.

Cofounder
James Butcher
James has 15+ years experience in the medical device industry; mainly specialising around the knee, hip and ankle markets with companies such as Smith & Nephew, Wright Medical and Stryker. During this time he has been able to develop an expert level of clinical knowledge on a range of complex procedures and is the go to man for the surgeons in the area when it comes to complex revision and limb salvage cases.
Outside of work James has a wife and young family and likes spending time in the outdoors camping and in the cross fit gym.
Cofounder
David Murray-White
David, who started in the industry more recently, has been able to deliver market leading sales performances for companies such as Stryker and Johnson & Johnson. Similar to James, he has been able to develop a wealth of knowledge on various complex procedures and thrives on selling and the opportunity to win and convert new business.
When he is outside work, David has a wife and young baby which takes up most of his time but he enjoys staying active and playing football and rugby.
